Allen R Marineau, 81, of Marinette passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at The Cottages. He was born on August 7, 1943, to the late Arthur and Albertha (Jarman) Marineau in Marinette. He graduated from Marinette High School in 1961 and went on to serve his country proudly in the Navy. Following service, he worked in Marinette and Green Bay for WI Telephone which later became AT&T; retiring in 1995. Allen was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Radio Control Airplane Club, and Green Bay Nicolette Shooting Club. He enjoyed duck and deer hunting, building model planes, and spending time up in the Keweenaw.
Allen is survived by his brother, Mike (Rose) Marineau; brother in law, Gerald Nowakowski all of Marinette; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Marilyn (Donald) Desotell and Donna Nowakowski.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18th from 11am until Noon. A Funeral Service will be held at Noon with Deacon Chuck Gervasio officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery with Military Honors.
