MARINETTE – The Vintage House Assisted Living, formerly known as Washington Square Assisted Living, is under new ownership and invites prospective tenants, their families and community members to an open house on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Guests can enjoy light refreshments, tour the facility and ask questions. Live music by Luke Zastrow and Jody Korch will be offered from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
As a Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) with just 16 apartments, The Vintage House is intentionally small, creating a place where tenants and staff can truly know one another. Each apartment features a full kitchen with a stove, oven and full-size refrigerator, along with a private bedroom, bathroom and living room — offering the comforts of home and space to make their own.
Its mission centers on a simple belief: every stage of life deserves to be celebrated, and each person’s stories, wisdom, traditions and experiences deserve to be cherished.
That belief shapes an approach grounded in kindness, patience, respect and compassion — with a little fun along the way. A strong staff-to-tenant ratio gives caregivers time to listen, build meaningful relationships and provide personal attention.
The Vintage House also honors each tenant’s independence, encouraging people to make their own choices, maintain familiar routines and welcome family and friends. Its guiding philosophy is that tenants do not live where staff work; staff work where tenants live.
The open house is an opportunity to experience that welcoming atmosphere and learn more about a community built around care, connection and belonging.
The Vintage House is located at 2502 Taylor St., Marinette. For more information, call (715) 732-2550.
