Peshtigo Woman’s Club thanks community as 2026 Bands at Badger concert series closes

PESHTIGO – The Peshtigo Woman’s Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the bands, sponsors, and community members who supported the 2026 Bands at Badger concert series.

This year’s concert series brought its share of weather challenges, resulting in numerous delays and rescheduled performances.

“We are especially grateful to the bands for their flexibility and willingness to accommodate the schedule changes,” the club shared.

“We also want to thank our community for continuing to show up, support the concerts, and enjoy the music despite the changing dates. Your patience, enthusiasm and continued support meant so much to our organization.”

They extended a special thank you to the talented bands who performed this year, including Neon Detour, Jet Pack Stereo, The Rapid Transit Band, The Big Snake, Sweet Acoustic and The Walloons.

These concerts were made possible thanks to the financial support of generous sponsors: Sprinkles, Stephenson National Bank and Trust, Rennes Group, LaFortune Auto Body Inc., Great Lakes Custom Tool Mfg., Inc., the Peshtigo Area Chamber of Commerce, Peshtigo National Bank, LaFaro’s Fresh Market, Frank’s Logging Inc., BPM Inc., A Specialty Paper Company, and Waupaca Foundry.

This generosity helped bring live music and enjoyable summer events to Peshtigo.

Finally, the club thanked everyone who visited the concessions and participated in the 50/50 raffles throughout the season. The club raised more than $2,850 from the 50/50 raffles, with funds to be used within the community.

The Bands at Badger concert series is one way the Peshtigo Woman’s Club brings people together while giving back to the community.

“Despite the weather challenges and schedule changes, the support shown throughout the 2026 season was a wonderful reminder of what makes our community special. We could not do it without our performers, sponsors, volunteers and concertgoers,” the club said.

“We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2027 for another year of music, fellowship and community fun at Bands at Badger.”
