PESHTIGO – Members of the Peshtigo Lions Club and their families were out in full force during Peshtigo Historical Day, helping make the community celebration at Badger Park a success.
The Lions operated their food and beverage booth throughout the event, serving a variety of popular favorites to attendees enjoying the activities and festivities at the park.
The menu included jumbo hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, bratwurst, chips, soda and water. Club members worked together throughout the day to prepare and serve the food, keep the booth running smoothly and welcome visitors.
The historical day food booth is one of the Peshtigo Lions Club’s largest fundraising events of the year. The funds raised through the event help support the club’s ongoing service projects and efforts to give back to the Peshtigo community and surrounding area.
For the Lions, the event is about more than fundraising. It provides an opportunity for members to volunteer their time, work together and support one of the community’s special annual celebrations.
The strong presence of Lions at Badger Park reflected the club’s continued commitment to serving Peshtigo. From preparing food to serving customers and keeping the booth operating throughout the event, Lions played an important role in helping provide food and refreshments for Peshtigo Historical Day attendees.
The Peshtigo Lions Club thanks everyone who stopped at the booth, enjoyed a meal or beverage and supported the club’s fundraising efforts. Community support helps the Lions continue their tradition of service and allows the club to assist with projects and activities that benefit people throughout the Peshtigo area.
A big thank you goes out to event coordinators Lions Mark Neumann and Brian Sabel for doing a fantastic job of preparing for the event and ensuring things ran smoothly.
