Peshtigo’s bid for its first playoff victory since 2019 ended in a 34-27 overtime loss Friday night at Chilton, a heartbreaking finish to a game packed with big plays and momentum swings.

The Bulldogs rallied from a 20-13 second-half deficit to take a 27-20 lead on a touchdown pass to Jackson Malke with 3:48 remaining but Chilton answered with a touchdown with 43 seconds left to force overtime.

The Tigers scored on their first overtime snap, then recovered a Peshtigo fumble on the Bulldogs’ first play of the overtime session to end it.
