Peshtigo sophomore Rachel Nelson topped a field of 55 runners at Tuesday’s Manawa/Symco Invitational in Green Bay.
Nelson finished the race in 20 minutes, 52 seconds, one second faster than second-place finisher Ava Lorenz of Shiocton.
Shawano would win the team event as their top five runners all finished in the top eight. Peshtigo was second.
