Peshtigo City Council at its meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 1 accepted recommendation from the Fire Department Building Committee to hire UPEA (Upper Peninsula Engineers and Architects) to design expansion projects at the city’s two fire stations that will make it possible for the city’s volunteer fire department to add emergency medical response to the list of services it provides. The project is being financed through a Neighborhood Investment EMS Grant.
