At its meeting on Monday, Nov. 20 Crivitz Village board is expected to adopt its budget for 2024.

The agenda provides for comments from pre-registered citizens as well as committee and attorney reports.

Crivitz Board Agrees To Have School Facilities Needs Study

The Crivitz School Board has taken the first steps toward what appears likely to be a referendum to finance either reconstruction of all or parts of the existing elementary school building, or construction of an entirely new elementary building, possibly on a different site, or possibly in connection with the middle/high school building that was built in 1998.

Crivitz Board May Hire Utility Assistant

The Crivitz Village Board will meet in closed session at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 14 to interview applicants for the position of full time utility assistant.

The board is expected to rank applicants, make hiring recommendations and discuss possible  terms of employment and then re-convene to open session and announce action taken in closed session, if any.

Agenda includes possible board acton on a grant resolution, fireworks licenses, and ordinances and/or resolutions on garbage, Public Intoxication, Sprinkler Systems, ATV/UTV use, and fire inspection requirements.

Crivitz Board To Act On Permit For VFW Garage

Other than routine approval of bills for payment and minutes of previous meetings, the only two action items on the agenda for Crivitz Village Board at its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 are anticipated approval of a conditional use permit to allow the VFW to construct a garage just south of  the American Legion building on Hwy. 141 in Crivitz, some handbook changes and a closed session to discuss an employee.
