Simon “Cy” B. Brault, age 96, of Crivitz was called to heaven into eternal peace on December 23, 2025. He was born on November 26, 1929, the son of the late Archie and Anna Brault, and was preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Clarence Brault, Evelyn Saucier, Raymond Brault, and Bernice Brault.

Simon “Cy” proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War (1950–1954). After his service, he worked hard to provide for his family, including time spent as a milkman—a role that reflected his dedication and strong work ethic where he met many of his closest friends and acquaintances. Everyone knew and loved Cy.

On July 18, 1953, Simon “Cy” married Marie E. Brault (Bushmaker) at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena, WI, beginning a beautiful journey of love and partnership that lasted 63 years until Marie’s passing in 2016. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and community. He is survived by his four children: Debbie (Jon) Kradecki, Kathy “Katie” (Ralph) Wesoloski, Steve (Melissa Kamps) Brault, David (Jackie) Brault, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Cy deeply loved his wife, children, family, and friends. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, and was a lifetime Yankees fan, but most of all, he cherished time spent with his family.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at NEWCare in Crivitz (led by Sharon) and Bristol Hospice (Nurse Sarah) for their exceptional care and support during his final days.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, February 13th from 9-11 am at St. Mary’s Parish at 808 Henriette Ave, Crivitz, WI 54114. A Mass of Christian Burial with military honors will follow at 11 am with Father Dave officiating. Simon will be placed to rest at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman, next to the love of his life, Marie.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Veteran’s American Legion Post 0413 in Cy’s honor.
