Scott L. Pleau, 63, of Marinette passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at home. He was born on September 20, 1962, to the late John and Judy (Kramer) Pleau Sr. in Menominee. He graduated from Menominee High School in 1980. In his early years he worked and managed McCorry's and Music Land. Scott later worked for Menominee Paper and over 20 years for Ansul/Johnson Control, proudly retiring at age 58. He was extremely proud of his family and remembered every important date. Music was his life, he could always be seen surrounded by music, whether at a live concert or having his 80's hard rock music playing. He enjoyed riding his bike, yard work, giving back to the community, donating blood, keeping himself fit, and playing and watching sports. He was a Vikings fan. Scott was an inspiration to many with his health journey. His friends meant the world to him and were like family. He maintained life long relationships, still getting together once a month with high school friends.

Scott is survived by brothers: David (Terry) Pleau of Menominee, John Pleau of LaCrosse, and James (Lisa Cider) King of Menominee; nieces and nephews: John (Jenee Sotka) Pleau, Lita Maloney, Carrie (Lief) Pleau-Ascher, Jennifer (Robert) Lukowski, Katie (fiance', Shane) Pleau, and Jason Pleau; close friends, Kim Wojciehowski and the Lindsays; and many other friends and relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step dad, Theodore King; sister, Debbie; and brothers: Mike, Richard, and Gerald.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
