Rosalind M. Jackson, age 92, of Menominee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Menominee Health Services. She was born April 2, 1934, to Clarence and Ila (Peterson) Tupper.
Rosalind lived a steady, hardworking life. As the wife of an Air Force serviceman, she raised three girls through the challenges and constant changes of military life. She later drove a school bus for many years, becoming a familiar and trusted presence to the kids she saw every day.
After moving to Florida, Rosalind built strong friendships and enjoyed the community in which she lived. She loved people and was committed to the church she attended.
Her faith in Jesus was central to her life. She shared that faith in gentle, consistent ways — especially in the cards she wrote, always adding a reminder of God’s love and hope.
She is survived by her siblings, Sandra Zimmerman, Ken (Ellen) Tupper, and Ronald Tupper; her daughters, Roberta (Steven) Anderson, Debra Thoune, and Sandra Jackson; grandchildren, Jaime Anderson, Melisa (Tim) Hendry, Wayne (Naomi) Anderson, and Lisa Thoune; nine great‑grandchildren; and two great‑great‑grandchildren.
Rosalind was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Jackson, on January 26, 1985; by her brother‑in‑law, Orvis Zimmerman; by her sister‑in‑law, Gerrie Tupper; by her grandson, Paul Thoune; and by special friends Ray Slone and Perry Sohr.
There will be a memorial service for her at Hansen‑Onion‑Martell funeral home on Saturday, May 30th at 11 a.m., officiated by her grandson, Pastor Wayne Anderson. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
