Roger J. Karban, 73, of Beaver, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23, 1953 to Elmer and Myrtle (Wistein) Karban. Roger was united in marriage to Bonnie Charapata on September 22, 1973.
Roger enjoyed grilling out, riding in his side by side, casino trips to Carter, gardening, tending to his pond and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. But, what he loved the most was spending quality time with his family.
Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Bonnie, his loving mother, Myrtle Karban, 2 daughters; Tammy (Jason) Hanrahan, Tina (Matt) Stegman, 1 son; Corey (Joelle) Karban, 7 grandchildren; Bryce (Heidea) Karban, Spencer Karban, Brynn (fiance, Alex Sharkey) Karban, Bre (Karson Casper) Hanrahan, Kaily Hanrahan, Lily and Maya Stegman. 4 brothers; Jim (Mary) Karban, Tom (Martha) Karban, Bill Karban, Toby (Lori) Karban, 3 sisters; Mary (Leonard) Peterson, Jane Petchak, and Patty (Scott) Harris. Roger is further survived by his sister in law; Marcie (Jim) Crandall, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father; Elmer Karban, brother; Mark Karban, father and mother in law; Tony (Annabelle) Charapata.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at St. Anne Catholic Church 228 E. Main St. Coleman, WI. 54112. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M. Funeral Mass will follow beginning at 11:00 A.M with Father Ben Johnson officiating.
