Patrick Todd Maye, 67, of Coleman passed away peacefully April 5, 2026 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. He was born to Robert and Donna (Christ) Maye July 5, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He married the former Susan Howard February 13, 1976. They had three wonderful kids together and raised them in Coleman. Sue preceded him in death in 2019.
He worked at Marinette Marine in his younger years and went on to operate his own roofing and carpentry business until retiring in 2019. He enjoyed pool league, fishing, supporting local establishments, and volunteering for many community events, including Ducks Unlimited, Coleman Wrestiling, Coleman Fire Department, to name a few. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.
Surviving are his wife, Gayle, three children, Shawn Maye, Jason (significant other Devon) Maye, and Amy (Joedy) Bintz; 4 grandkids, Cayden, Aubrey, Aspyn and Asyk and one sassy cat, named “Sassy,” his mother, Donna Maye; siblings, Tim Maye, Lisa Johnson, Lori Maye, Chris (Ronee) Maye, Lance Maye, and Logan (Yolanda) Maye; step-mom, Schelle Maye, father-in-law, Orrin Howard, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, his wife Sue, his sister-in-law, Diane Maye and his brother-in-law, Rick Johnson.
There will be a Celebration of Life May 9, 2026 at Furkees on Main Street in Coleman from 12 Noon until 4 PM. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman is assisting the family.
