Lena’s postseason run came to an end Tuesday evening in Plover, as the Wildcats fell 8-1 to a tough Pacelli team in the WIAA Division 4 Section 2 title game.
Pacelli used patience at the plate to score 4 runs in the 2nd inning and never looked back. Lena’s lone run came in the 3rd when Mason Spice singled and later scored on a Colt Miller sac fly.
Dane Comins pitched in relief and battled through some tough innings after starter Bryce Schneider exited. Lena flashed solid defense but couldn’t get much going offensively against Pacelli starter Lucas Haemmerle.
The Wildcats close out a strong 2025 campaign with an M&O title and a pair of dramatic playoff wins.
