James “Jim” Schlies
age 50, of Wausaukee, passed away at home on March 10, 2025, after courageously battling severe ailments. He was born in Marinette on May 23, 1974; son of David and JoAnn (Smith) Schlies. Jim was a very down-to-earth man that lived and enjoyed a simple life. He was instilled with a great work ethic and was proud to work mostly at Giese Logging. He logged over 3 million miles to date. Jim was an OTR driver for approximately 29 years, a job he loved.
Jim is survived by his wife, Ginger; mother, JoAnn; and sister, De Anna Stacy. He was preceded in death by his father, Dave.
Per Jim’s wishes, no service will be held but burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Wausaukee.
