Faye Hinnrichs

Posted
Although Mom's "light went out", she will forever shine brightly in our hearts and memories. Faye Janet (Finger) Hinnrichs, Plano TX, passed away peacefully at home on Ju ne 3, 2025, at 91 years young.

Born in March of 1934 to the late Lawrence and Claryce Finger of Peshtigo, WI, she graduated from the Milwaukee Hospital School of Nursing with a Nursing degree and began her career at the Milwaukee Hospital. In 1956, Faye married Alan Hinnrichs of Milwaukee in 1956 and continued working while also
starting a family. Al's career transferred them to Texas where Faye became a devoted full-time mother of four and Domestic Engineer. She and Al enjoyed watching every possible event for the children and grandchildren, raising Great Danes, collecting Carnival Glass, and travelling the world together during their 53 years of marriage.

Faye was always the optimist choosing to see the glass as half full no matter what the circumstances. She had a friendly smile and conversation for everyone she met, genuinely interested in hearing what they had to say. Her green thumb was amazing and she was a voracious reader never having enough books or magazines around her.

Among survivors are her brother James (Рat) Finger, her children Kathy Hannon, Greg (Kim) Hinnrichs, Dave Hinnrichs, and Cindy (Steve) Parnell, six grandchildren, and three (almost 4) great grandchildren.

A private internment will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, Faye requested donations be made to Operation Kindness in her memory.
