In loving memory of Daniel “Bubba” Olson, who departed this life courageously on October 11th after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on March 20th, 1965, he leaves behind a legacy of profound impact and unwavering dedication.

A graduate of Menominee High School, Dan's passion for mentorship shone brightly as he coached the Hornets 7th grade football team for numerous years. Additionally, he poured his heart into guiding his three daughters in youth softball, instilling in them the virtues of teamwork and perseverance.

Dan's commitment to service extended beyond the field, as he proudly served in the esteemed ranks of the US Army. With valor and honor, he contributed his talents to the 534th Military Police Company in Panama and the 170th MP Co. at Ft. Lewis, WA and was awarded for his achievements during Operation “Just Cause.”

He is survived by his cherished daughters Nicole (Danny) Cazares, Kennedy Olson, and Kamryn Olson, whose lives he enriched immeasurably. Also left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother Shirley, brother Morgan (Kris), sister Mary Olson, sister-in-laws RoseAnn and Karen Olson, and nephews Christopher, Tony, and Dillon Olson. Nicole’s mother, Kelly Johnson, and Kamryn and Kennedy's mother, Michelle, remain to honor his memory. He is also survived by special pets Lucas, Justice, River, Jepson, and Asher.

Dan is preceded in death by his beloved father, Obrey, and his two brothers John and Mark.

In honoring Dan's remarkable life, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date to celebrate his enduring spirit and profound impact. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, with Military Honors, surrounded by the love and memories of those whose lives he touched deeply.
