Crivitz Youth, Inc. celebrates new outdoor pickleball courts

Posted

CRIVITZ – Crivitz Youth, Inc. (CYI) celebrated the completion of four new regulation outdoor pickleball courts with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the former skate park site in Crivitz.

Made possible through the generosity of the Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation, the new courts provide another opportunity for people in Crivitz and the surrounding communities to stay active, socialize and enjoy recreational activities close to home.

Pickleball is a fun and accessible sport for people of different ages and skill levels, offering a great way to get moving and connect with others.

The courts are free and open to everyone daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the operating season. They will close for the winter and reopen in the spring when weather conditions permit.

Crivitz Youth, Inc. extends its sincere gratitude to the Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation for making these courts possible. This generous contribution adds a valuable recreational amenity to the area and supports CYI’s ongoing efforts to provide quality, affordable opportunities that promote physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.

The pickleball courts are one of the many ways CYI works to bring people together and support a healthier, more connected community. Through its Community Center, Teen Center and Child Development Center, CYI
offers recreational, wellness, youth and childcare opportunities for individuals and families.

CYI welcomes everyone from Crivitz and the surrounding communities to enjoy the new pickleball courts and explore the programs and services available through Crivitz Youth, Inc.
