Celeste “Sally” Hultquist age 71, passed away peacefully at home on Friday April 18, 2025. She was born December 2, 1953 to the late Thomas and Eleanor (Fenske) Martin. She was united in marriage to Ed Hultquist on May 3, 1975. Sally enjoyed quilt making, golfing, and watching her grandchildren’s personalities develop while they created lives of their own.
Survivors include her husband, Ed; two children: Samuel (Melissa) and Jacob (Tanya); seven grandchildren: Corbin, Edward, Floyd, and Gabriel Hultquist and Jarod, Jesse, and Tori Jandt; further survived by her sister and best friend, Karen (Don) Shaw; brothers: Thomas (Jocelyn) Martin, Peter (Diane) Martin, and Paul Martin; brothers-in-law: Fred (Jill) Hultquist, and George (Kathryn) Hultquist; sister-in-law, Christine (Peter) Lehrer; nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and neighbors. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Abigail; and in-laws: Charles (Joyce) Hultquist; a nephew, Wilson; and niece, Samantha.
Visitation will be held on Saturday May 10, 2025, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee from 9am until the time of her service at 11am. Father Dave Schmidt is officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Wausaukee will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wausaukee Rescue Squad, Menominee Animal Shelter or the Almost Home animal shelter in Quinnesec, MI would be appreciated.
