Bradley James Behrendt, 79, of Marinette, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, August 5, 2026, at Meadow Brook in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin.

Bradley was born in Marinette to the late Margaret and Norman Behrendt. He graduated from Marinette High School in 1965 and later went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. He married Ellen Marie (Steppke) on September 21,1969 and soon after they welcomed their daughter Carrie Gwen. Throughout his life he had a great work ethic and took pride in a job well done. He enjoyed his time serving on the city council and other committees, but his favorite way to spend what free time he had was with his family and especially his grandchildren. He LOVED watching sports. All things Wisconsin that is--Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers.  He liked to think he knew more than the coaches or refs, but I digress.

Bradley is survived by his loving wife, Ellen of Marinette; daughter, Carrie Johnson (DJ) and their children, Tiffany Lindbom (Jacob), Luke Johnson, Grace (Derek) Van Ess and Gabriel Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Brighton, Briar and Weston; siblings, Greg (Jean) Behrendt, Jeff (Nancy) Behrendt, Perry (Minerva) Behrendt, Nick (Leslie) Behrendt, and Joni Behrendt; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie and her husband Skip Bohse; and his nephew Bruce Behrendt.

Visitation will be held at the Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home on Saturday August 8th from 10 AM to 12 PM with service to follow with Pastor Scott Ehle officiating.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Cottages and Meadow Brook along with Unity Hospice.
