Berkshire Hathaway invites public to third annual Easter event

Posted

MARINETTE – Berkshire Hathaway Home Services will host their third annual Easter event on Sunday, April 13 and invites all local children and families to come share the fun.

Megan Sullivan, a licensed realtor with Berkshire Hathaway, has been working hard behind the scenes to plan this event.

She explained that “this is one of the things that is closest to my heart,” adding that the Easter event is a way to give back to the community that has supported her professionally and personally.

The Easter event is free for all to attend, and boasts an impressive list of sponsors who have helped to keep it free: Jack’s Fresh Market, Little River Country Club, Knight Barry Titles, Schroepfer Family Dental, Waupaca Foundry, Cornerstone Mortgage, M&M Shamrocks, Dominion Title and Exchange Services, Ponzin and LaValley Family Dentistry, Sprinkles Icecream Parlour and ALiBi Bar and Grill.

Additionally, Sprinkles is loaning the event an industrial-sized cotton candy machine and Jack’s is covering a cookie decorating station.

Sullivan explained that some aspects of the event will be split up into two age groups, such as bounce houses and Easter egg searches, to make sure everyone has fun and stays safe.

While all of the Easter eggs are sure to hold an exciting treat, Sullivan shared that some will hold a numbered “golden coin,” correlating to a few special prizes, like a soccer set or electric scooter.

Parents can look forward to professional Easter Bunny photos and find local food from the ALiBi.

The Easter event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13 at the Community REC Center, 2501 Pierce Ave., Marinette.

Entry is free, but donations are appreciated and will support local food pantries.
