Annabelle (Fetterly) Hallada, 94, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026. A lifelong resident of Oconto County, Annabelle was born to the late Dennis and Rose (Brye) Fetterly on October 28, 1931, the second of ten children.  She married Sylvester Hallada on April 29, 1953 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lena.  The couple was proud to raise their family on their dairy farm in Coleman.

Annabelle was an excellent embroiderer, sewer and quilter making dozens of blankets and other items.  She enjoyed tending to the garden beside her husband, preserving their harvest, then making something delicious to share.  With a knack for cooking and baking, friends and family were always excited to be the recipient of one of her home cooked meals.  Annabelle also found joy in putting together puzzles, reading a good book and playing cards.

She is survived by her six children; RoseAnn (Ron) Patenaude, Sherry (Gaylon) Reeves, Terry (Jackie) Hallada, Milton Hallada, Audrey Tesch and Jacqueline Patz; grandchildren, Tabitha, Travis, Shawn, Michael, Tara, Kaitlyn, Britny, Tyler and Brandon; eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 73 years, Sylvester.

As per Annabelle’s wishes no services will be held.  Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman is assisting the family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful staff and residents at The Cottages at Meadowlands Senior Living for providing Annabelle not just with a place to live, but a home where laughs were shared, memories were created, and friends were made.  Also a special thank you to Moments Hospice for their compassionate care.
