Town of Stephenson to meet on shared services

CRIVITZ – The Shared Services Committee of the Village of Crivitz and Town of Stephenson will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 in the board room of the Crivitz Village hall for a discussion on Economic Development.

The village and town have been considering a shared services agreement for law enforcement, and the last Shared Services Committee meeting ended with a decision to get more information before taking action.

Consideration of a revised Shared Services contract was among items on the agenda for the monthly Crivitz Village board meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27.

At a special 6:30 p.m. meeting on Wednesday, March 27 the Stephenson Town Board was to consider a possible contract with the village in regard to shared services for law enforcement, and also to discuss and/or possibly create a Town Constable position.
