The “Wisconsin Independent” is NOT independent!

The liberals and Democrats are repeating the same devious strategy they used against U.S. Senator Ron Johnson in last Fall’s election in order to defame Justice Daniel Kelly, candidate for Wisconsin State Supreme Court.  They’re sending out a publication which an unsuspecting voter might think is legitimate and unbiased when it is the farthest thing from it.  They use a newspaper called, “The Wisconsin Independent”.  It was sent by the “American Independent” organization in Washington D.C.

When I received one of these papers before the Ron Johnson election, I looked on a website called “Media Bias/ Fact Check”, and found the following about the American Independent organization:

“These media sources are moderate to strongly biased toward liberal causes through story selection and/or political affiliation.  They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), to publish misleading reports, and omit information reporting that may damage liberal causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy.”

“Overall, we rate The American Independent Left Biased based on story selection and editorial perspectives that always favors the left. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a lack of transparency with funding, one-sided reporting, and a failed fact check.”

That information confirmed my suspicion that the newspaper was certainly not “independent”.  It was obvious to me that there was a liberal/Democrat bias since every article favored Democrats and criticized Republicans.

The truth about Justice Daniel Kelly is that he is a man of the highest integrity and a person who will uphold the Wisconsin Constitution and the laws of the State of Wisconsin.  He is a conservative constitutional scholar who has served on the Wisconsin Supreme Court in the past.

On the other hand, his opponent Janet Protasiewicz is a far-left liberal who would put in jeopardy everything our conservative legislature has passed including voter-id, school choice and concealed carry.  I wouldn’t doubt that someday she would rule that farmers couldn’t use manure to fertilize their fields.

She has called the state’s legislative maps “rigged.” She has also accused the U.S. Supreme Court of ignoring “the will of the people” for “incorrectly” deciding the overturning of Roe v. Wade.  That certainly does not sound like someone who will decide cases without incorporating her own personal prejudices and opinions instead deciding the cases based on the law itself.

It is critical that you vote for Daniel Kelly on April 4th and tell all of your conservative friends to vote for him and that they tell their conservative friends to vote for him. The future of Wisconsin law is literally in your hands.
