Terroristic threats made to Menominee County Courthouse results in arrest of Menominee Man

MENOMINEE, MICH. – On Friday, June 28, at approximately 8:09 a.m., Menominee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Investigators responded to threats made to shoot the Menominee County Courthouse employees. 

The suspect, a 29-year-old Menominee man, was located and arrested at his residence in the city of Menominee. The man was lodged at the Menominee County Jail on the charge of Terroristic Threats, and his name is being withheld, pending arraignment in 95A District Court. 

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Menominee City Police Department and Menominee County Central Dispatch. 

Sheriff Mike Holmes also reminds community members that tips and information related to criminal activity or suspicious behavior may be reported anonymously via the Crime Stoppers of Marinette and Menominee County Facebook page, or through the Crime Stoppers mobile tip app.
