Suring Releases DPI District Report Cards

On Nov. 15, 2022, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) released the school and district report cards for the 2021-22 school year. This is required by state statute (Wis. Stat. 115.385) to generate a school report card and district report card for every publicly funded school and district in the state.
The Suring Public School District is proud to share our report card accountability scores. 
Suring school district “Exceeds Expectations” and is ranked  3rd of the 27 schools in CESA 8 (Northeastern WI); growth of 2.1 points since last year.
The high school “Significantly Exceeds Expectations” and is ranked 1st out of 27 schools in CESA 8 (Northeastern WI) and the highest score in Oconto County; growth of 6 points since last year
Suring Elementary School “Meets Expectations” and is ranked in the top 1/3rd of 27 schools in CESA 8 (Northeastern WI).
 Superintendent Dr. Paul Orlich noted, “We are extremely proud of our staff and the hard work they have put in over the past several years to increase student learning.  While the report card is just one measure of our success, this provides us an opportunity to celebrate our successes and to reflect on areas for improvement.”
