Six Vehicle Accident Scene

Emergency personnel were busy early Tuesday morning cleaning up a six vehicle accident scene just south of the on ramp coming into Peshtigo. Three semi-trailers, two cars and a pickup truck were involved. No injuries were reported. Deputies from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department along with Lieutenant Derrick Koronkiewicz of the Peshtigo Police Department responded. Heavy wreckers were brought in to remove the semi trucks and trailers. Traffic was backed up past Kasal Lane near George Webb to allow responders to clear the road. The Grover-Porterfield Fire Department also responded to the crash to help with traffic control. The full accident report was not available at press time.
