Shirley M. Shafer

Shirley Mae Shafer, 88, of Pembine, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara. 

She was born Nov. 22, 1935 in Dunbar, to the late John and Lillian (Peterson) Groleski. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pembine on Friday, May 19 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Quinn Mann officiating, followed by burial in Pembine Cemetery. Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel is assisting the family with arrangement. Memorials can be made to the Pembine Rescue Squad or Pembine Volunteer Fire Department in her memory.
