Ronald F. Rouer

A wonderful strong man left this world on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022. Ronald “Butch” Frank Rouer was a small man in stature with a big a heart of gold.

This amazing man was born to the late Gilbert and Alice Rouer on March 5, 1940 in Little River. He graduated from Lena High School in 1958. Ronald married Jean Donlevy on February 27, 1965. The couple ran a Dairy Farm and drove milk truck for 33 years. He also worked for the Town of Little River for over 33 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved spending time at his cabin with his family and friends which was his sanctuary. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club and Little River Fire Department.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jean; 6 children, Lori (Bob) Schubert, Scott (Carol) Rouer, Kevin Rouer, Jeff “Red” (Carol) Rouer, Julie (Jeff) Dey and Sherry (Tom) Drees; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; Two sisters, Joyce Sterling and Anita Berendt; Four brothers-in-law, Jack Donlevy, Richard Donlevy, Vincent Bushmaker and Junior Henne and a Sister-in-law, Loretta Munson.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy; three brothers; one sister and Fishing buddies, Marlo and Shorty.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Lena on Saturday, October 1st from 9-2PM. The service will be at 2PM with the Oconto Elks 887 officiating.
