Roger R Stebbins

Roger Roy Stebbins, 94, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022.

Born June 20, 1928 in Kenton, Mi., to the late Everette and Alice (Dault) Stebbins, he married Victoria Butryn on Sept. 18, 1948 in Schaffer, Mi. He was self employed as owner and operator of a sawmill and lumber business.

An honest man, he became successful with his word and a handshake. He was a member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee and a lifelong member of North Shore Golf Club. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, playing cards with his buddies and golfing. He had two holes-in-one in his lifetime with one being just a year ago.

Survivors include three daughters, Candace (John) Fleetwood, Kim (Dewey) Bellisle and Colette (Dennis) Kloida; a son, Jason (Teresa) Stebbins; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Victoria, he was preceded in death by a son, Roger Allen.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Friday, April 28 from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish in Menominee at 11:30 a.m., with Fr. Joseph Boakye Yiadom presiding. A luncheon will follow the Mass and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
