Robert E. Reese

Robert E. Reese, 78, of Menominee, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021. He was born Aug. 2, 1943 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Robert H. and Marion (Watry) Reese. Robert was a 1961 graduate of New Holstein High School. On June 15, 1963, he married the former Sharon Schwobe and together raised a family of three children.

After completing an apprenticeship, Robert worked for Tecumseh Products Co. for 43 years as a Maintenance Manager. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. Anyone that knew him realized he was an elaborate story teller who knew how to get the most out of a story and sometimes stretched the truth in the process. But his greatest stories were of how he adored his grandchildren and no elaboration was needed.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon; his daughter, Rhonda (Tony) Klapper of Green Bay; his son, Douglas Reese also of Green Bay; five grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Diane) Reese and Roy (Kathy) Reese; a sister, Barbara Jean (David) Valleskey; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Robert S. Reese; and his mother-in-law, Thelma Schwobe.

Per his wishes there were no service. The family will be having a private memorial gathering.
