Richard L. Robenhorst

Richard “Dude” L. Robenhorst, 73, of Pound, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on March 19, 2023.

He was born to the late Herbert and Jean (Kebschull) Robenhorst August 13, 1949 in Oconto Falls. Richard worked at Patz Company for 40 years until his retirement.

His passion was bass fishing and he was a member of the Northeast Basser’s Fishing Club.  Richard also enjoyed hunting and going to car shows, especially showing his 2011 Dodge Challenger.  He was also a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Breed.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Jane, two sons, Steve (Rona) Smith, Paul (Vivian Barns) Smith, his brother Ray (Phyllis) Robenhorst, three grandkids, Tami, Samantha and Nick; two great-grandkids Easton and Kenzi; sisters-in-law, Carol (Pat) Schomaker, Marge Randall, Kathy Johnson, Judy Badalamenti; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Linda) Gabriel, Ken (Renee) Gabriel, Paul (Sandy) Sokol and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends Roger Lockstein, Doug Robinson and Dave Luebeck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim, Tommy and Jeff and his first wife Patty (Sokol).

The family will greet relatives and friends at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 13346 County AA, Suring, WI 54174 Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 AM with Pastor Steven Stoll officiating.  Please visit RhodesCharapata.com to express online condolences.
