Red Cross Senior Scholarships

The Wausaukee/Athelstane/Amberg Blood Drives were able to collect over 3,000 pints of blood to give $3,000 in 2023 Senior scholarships. This year they went to 2023 Wausaukee Seniors at their Senior Banquet on Wednesday, May 17th. Each student needed to right a 200-word essay on why it is important to give blood, help with blood drives by bringing supplies for snacks or help at a drive if persons are unable to give. This year’s seniors pictured back row are: Barb Kolosowski blood drive coordinator, Nathan Shaw $450, Jonathan Laun $450, Sparrow Luccarini $350 and Jeffery Remer $250. Front row Nellie Dunlap $350, Kylie Boesen $350, Brooke Hujet $250 and Rachel Schlies $300. Good Luck Seniors in their next journey in life. Remember to learn something every day whether big or small.  Not pictured was Delylah Stich who was home schooled $250.
