Ralph S. Anderson
Ralph Samuel Anderson of Marinette, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.
Born Jan. 27, 1928 to Samuel and Clara Anderson in Birch Creek, Mi., he graduated from Menominee High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Army on the Island of Guam during World War II. He was a proud member of the National Guard, American Legion and the VFW.
He worked at Menominee Paper Mill for 38 years. In 1968, he lost his eldest son, Michael, who lost his life during combat while serving in the United States Army in another foreign country while protecting our democracy. Ralph married his beautiful sweet wife, the love of his life, Joyce Kuntz Anderson in 1969 and they shared 51 years of loving companionship.
An avid woodworker, he sold his work (Driftwood Creations) at many craft shows and loved to travel the world with his wife Joyce. He will lovingly be remembered by many for his kindness, great stories and sense of humor, but especially for his famous, delicious ham roll ups. Ralph will be sadly missed, fondly remembered and forever in our hearts by his many family members and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce; two sons, Richard (Norma Jean) and Steven; five grandchildren, Angel Kregelka, Christopher Anderson, Shannon Anderson, Amanda Woodrow and Sarah Jolly and also his great-grandchildren.
