PURPLE ANGEL TRAINING

The Village of Pound Board and staff members participated in “Purple Angel” training on Tuesday July 19th as part of the Dementia Friendly Community Coalition of Marinette County. The mission of the coalition is to “create a dementia friendly community that is safe, respectful, and welcoming for people living with dementia through awareness, education and community engagement. The class was led by Kennedy Suhr, Dementia Care Specialist, Marinette County Aging & Disability Resource Center. Village participants included: Morgan Messenger, Trustee; Joan Hannan, Election Inspector; Terry Earley, President; Mike Rogodzinski, Trustee; Diane Patz, Clerk/Treasurer; and Scott Fuelle, Dept. Public Works/Utility Admin.
