Panthers Top Marines at Northbrook Triangular

Oconto Falls’ girls golf team picked up a triangular win over Luxemburg-Casco and Marinette at Northbrook Golf Course on Monday.

The Panthers shot 214 as a team, beating the hosting Spartans by 11 strokes and the Marines by 16.

All five Oconto Falls golfers were within three strokes of one another over nine holes. Kloeigh Seidl shot a 52, Kate Pyletski carded a 53, Taylor Miller shot a 54, and the Panthers got a pair of 55s from Kenadee Seidl and Lexi Nelson.

Marinette’s Kennedy Polomis had the best score of 14 golfers on the day, with a 51.

Camryn Ferm shot a 56, Regan Harmanson shot a 59, and Jada Jones finished with a 64.

Marinette Golfers Compete at Thunder Invite
Marinette competed at Crystal Springs in Seymour on Wednesday, shooting a 447 as a team.

Of 75 golfers, Marines senior Camryn Ferm was 24th with a 98, the best score for Marinette.

Sophomores Kennedy Polomis and Regan Hermanson were next, with scores of 105 and 121, respectively. Freshman Jada Jones carded a 123 and sophomore Olivia Henriksen’s 133 was dropped.

Marinette’s score put it 14th as a team. The top team score was Kaukauna, which recorded a 343. Neenah (354) and Green Bay Preble (388) were next.
