Oconto County Veterans Memorial Asks for Donations

Oconto County Veterans Memorial Corporation is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically to build a memorial to honor the KIA, MIA, and POW'S in all wars from the revolutionary war to present and to put other veterans that served but was not overseas in a war but either home preparing to go to war or for support. To show honor respect for all veterans from Oconto County that served in the military.
They further their purposes under this program by conducting the following activities: 
To build an Oconto County Veterans Memorial to honor all veterans that were KIA, MIA and POW's we will be asking for donations from the public to help build this Memorial and by using television, radio and newspaper to get in touch with the public. They will write letters to all companies in Oconto County to see if they care to donate to build the Memorial, each person that's part of the Oconto County Veterans Memorial will contact the public. 
They will have a section on the memorial for veterans that did not serve overseas in the wars, if the families want to donate to put up a veteran that did not serve overseas in the war on the wall of the memorial, they can donate to put up the rank, name and branch of service. The memorial is free to visit for the public and the people of Oconto County and the information on the memorial will educate the Oconto County people and others that come to visit the memorial and honor our veterans from Oconto County, the wars will be from revolutionary war to present time. 
The memorial will show the men and women that served from Oconto County and how they as veterans help mold this country. The memorial will show how the veterans from Oconto County are brave and honored to serve for Oconto County and the United Stated of America. The money that comes in for the memorial will go to build the memorial and when one is completed the address is Quincy St. runs East and West Arbutus St. runs North and South and the Copper Fest Park is across from the memorial and the tank that’s there now will be part of the memorial. 
They have an account at Stephenson National Bank & Trust of Oconto and donations will be sent straight to Oconto County Veterans Memorial Monument Fund account. This account will maintain the memorial when one is completed and to put names and other wars that may fallow and have them on the memorial from this day forward.
The volunteered members of the Oconto County Veterans Memorial will help raise money for the memorial and we will hire independent contractors to build the memorial. The officers of the Oconto County Veterans Memorial will organize activates for the Volunteered members to help raise the donations. This program has already commenced and consumes 100% of the organization's time.
The fundraising programs will include the following:
Mail Solicitations - United States Post Office, letters to company's and to people in the communities.
Email Solicitations - Personal emails, to people that we have emails to and Personal solicitation.
Communication to the Oconto County- Talking to the public on radio, TV talking to people on the street and door to door and the newspaper.
Other - The memorial will go on tv, radio and newspaper to contact the public to see if they will donate to the Oconto County Veterans Memorial, send letters to companies in Oconto County to see if they would care to donate and honor veterans. The memorial will go through the Oconto County talking to the public visiting companies to see if they’d like to donate to build the memorial. The memorial is trying to get the public to build the memorial by donations. All donations go to the memorial to build to maintain the memorial.
Fundraising will primarily, though Oconto County be conducted in the state of Wisconsin. Ther organization will conduct their own fundraising in the community of  Oconto County.
American Legion donated to Oconto County Veterans Memorial to start and finish phase one of the memorial, persons can see phase one when they drive by the location which was described above.
