Nicholas S. Lantagne

Nicholas S. “Nick” Lantagne, 24, of Niagara, left the world too soon on Friday, Nov.26, 2021. 

Born Nov. 20, 1997, to Steve Lantagne and Letty (John) Galeazzi, he grew up in Niagara where he attended school, graduating in 2016. 

An avid deer hunter, ice fisherman and Green Bay Packer fan, he had a passion for racing. As a child, he raced Go-Karts in Aurora and Wisconsin and Sport Trucks as an adult at Norway Speedway. His bright smile and laugh were contagious and he could light up any room with his humor. He was easy to spot wearing his signature orange knit hat. 

He is survived by his father Steve Lantagne; his mother and step-father Letty and John Galeazzi; his sister and best friend, Courtney (Logan) McGonigal; step-siblings, Kierra Galeazzi and Cole Galeazzi; grandmothers, Sue (Fred Simonetti) Bouchey-Hoffman and Carolyn Giancola and many aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Doug Lantagne and Ron Hoffman and his great-grandparents. 

Visitation will be held at Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Quinn Mann will officiate with burial in Niagara Cemetery. Condolences or tributes can be made online at www.JacobsFuneralHomes.com
