New Badger Park Hours Change Due to Vandalism

Park and Rec Director Lori Tonn stated that Badger Park will be closing at 9 PM every night until further notice. There has been a large amount of vandalism and late night shenanigans in the park and the surrounding buildings.

Public entrance to the park and playground will be gated closed to all bikers and foot traffic vehicles as well as and motorized vehicles  including mopeds, and motorcycles.

Cameras have been placed throughout the park and will be used to identify those who do not follow the new hours. The Peshtigo Police will also be monitoring the park and will issue tickets and community service to anyone caught in the park after 9 PM.

Those people who have the pavilion rented, will not be required to leave the park until the time listed on their contracts, but the playground closes for everyone at 9 p.m.
