Melvin Brault Sr.

Melvin Brault Sr., 85, of Pound, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2021. 

He was born in Marinette, WI., to the late Henry and Agnes (Rivet) Brault and attended Coleman School. Melvin enlisted in the Navy in 1953 and served 3 years. He married June Leisner in 1956. 

Melvin was a logger and farmer and was active in the American Legion Post 280. He enjoyed his family and the outdoors. 

Melvin is survived by his wife June of 63 years; sons, Dennis (Lisa) Brault, Melvin (Donna) Brault Jr. and Steve (Theresa) Brault; daughters, Cindy (Glenn) Kosch and Kim (Garo) Injasoulian; sister, Verna Rivet and brothers, Jerome Brault and Ronald Brault. Further survivors include, 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and special friend, Troy Blum. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Brault; sister, Marlene Burchram and grandson, Andrew Darga. 

Friends called at St. Anne Catholic Church, 228 E. Main St, Coleman on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Immediately following the visitation, the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated with the Rev. Felix Abano officiating. Burial was in St. John Cemetery in Coleman with full Military Honors held.
