Mary Lou Nesberg - Letter to Editor

First of all some of the statements made by Josh Seefeldt (current Board member is laughable). This on in particular that the recall will be paid 100% by the school district with taxpayers dollars. I am quite sure everyone realizes this but apparently it must be important to them or it wouldn’t have even come up. Mr. Seefeldt didn’t seem that concerned about taxpayers dollars when there was over 150 people at a Board meeting complaining about being misinformed about our taxes, they all sat there not looking at anyone just looking down, no eye contact at all with these taxpayers who pay their wages as well. As far as looking out in the best interest of the kids, Mr. Seefeldt, apparently still doesn’t get it does he? We all want what is in the best interest for the kids, but being misled to get what you wanted wasn’t right, but yet you still feel we weren’t mislead and if that is your opinion that’s fine.

His story about how he went to school here, his kids, etc. Well so did I, so did my kids and now my grandkids. I love this District and have always talked very highly of it. That has nothing to do with this issue at all. You think the Board did a good job of answering the questions that were brought out, (as he stated), are you kidding me, if you people were so confident about your answers, why did it take you two months to answer them or attempt to answer them?

Also, another laughable statement how proud he is of this Board because they have never had to go to referendum for everyday operations to pay the bills, well for the 19 years I was on the Board neither did those Boards that I am aware of.

So, with that being said, I am in full support of our write in candidates, Stanley Nogalski and Tobin Barrett and also Mike Fifarek who will be on the ballot. As far as the re-call I guess that’s in the hands of taxpayers.
