Marinette Middle Celebrates Veterans Day

During their daily advisory time all week, the 5th graders at Marinette Middle School did something for Veterans Day. On Monday, local hero/veteran, Dave Kluetz spoke to the class about his time in Viet Nam; on Tuesday students wrote letters to veterans thanking them for their service. Wednesday and Thursday they designed posters for the fence outside of school; and on Friday students decorated the playground fence. A moment of silence was shared across the entire school for all of the veterans. Throughout the week they also had a US flag trivia contest.
