Marinette Elks Lodge to Hold Cornhole Tourney Sept. 24th

The Marinette Elks Lodge 1313 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament is Saturday, Sept. 24 at Pedersen Park in Marinette. Check in time is 11 a.m. with tourney to start at 12 noon. Cost is $40 per team and is open to the public.
There will be two divisions: Competitive and Fun. First place for the competitive division gets $500; and First place for the fun division is $250. Top 5 places in each division receive cash award. Awards are based on 64 team tourney.
Pre-registration is preferred. Sign up at the Lodge Monday-Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. or call 906-290-1862. Persons can also register at CornholTourney.com on the EVENTS tab. Everyone who pre-registers is automatically entered to win an early bird prize. Persons may also sign up at the tournament by 11 a.m.
There will be a meat raffle, bucket raffles and 50/50 drawings. Persons don’t have to be in the tournament for these raffles. Beer and food will be available for purchase. All proceeds stay local.
