Marines Defeat Bulldogs in Shutout

MARINETTE-The Marinette Marines came away with a 2-0 home field win over the visiting Bulldogs Saturday May 11th.

MARINETTE – The Marinette High girls soccer team ran all over Clintonville on Thursday, May 9 as Chloe Seymour led the home team to a 17-1 rout with her four goals and an assist.

Josie Smerchek had three goals and an assist while Sierra Schriener had a hat trick and two assists. 

Kulie Kunick and Bry Torkko each turned in two goals. 

Lucy Carivou and Serenity Vanpool split time in the net for Marinette and each had a save.

Another overwhelming Marinette victory

LITTLE CHUTE – The Marinette High girls soccer team is on a roll after picking up its fourth straight victory on Monday, May 13 with a 9-1 beatdown of the Mustangs in Little Chute.

The Marines, now 8-3-1 overall and tied for the North Eastern Conference lead with Wrightstown at 4-1 in NEC play, got two goals apiece from Chloe Seymour, Josie Smerchek, and Sierra Schreiner. Seymour had two assists and Schreiner also assisted on one. Kylie Kunick had a goal and an assist Bry Torkko and Jada Jones each added goals for the Marines. Serenity Vanpool had two saves in goal and Lacy Carivou had one stop.
