Make Donation to Lakewood Library

Wabeno Christian Thrift Store representative Scott Wycherley, left, presented a $2000 donation to Lakewood Library assistant Peggy Aerts, right. The money will go to the Library’s capital campaign, which is at 80% of a $1.5 million -goal. The Thrift Store is an up north treasure run almost exclusively by volunteers. It accepts and sells donated items, using the money to improve lives in a wide variety of ways. Their donation will be doubled as part of a $15,000 match contribution made by an anonymous donor.
