Loomis Historical To Meet April 6th

The Loomis Historical Society will have its first meeting of 2023 on Thursday, April 6, at 12:00 noon at the Town of Lake Hall. There will be a potluck dinner prior to the meeting. Please bring a dish to pass and own tableware. Beverages will be provided. Dues are payable at this meeting.  They are $2 per person or $5 for a couple or family.  There is also a lifetime membership at $25 a person or $50 for a couple or family, which includes children up to 18 years of age.

Members are also reminded that at the December 2022 meeting, they were asked to bring in names of homes or buildings in the Town of Lake that are 100 years old or older.  Please bring this information to the meeting.

The program will be presented by Ralph Mortinson, a long-time resident of the Loomis area.  He will be speaking on his experiences racing horses.
