Lois Ann (Barley) Marcoe

Lois Ann (Barley) Marcoe, 91, of Stephenson passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Roubal Care and Rehab Center.  

Born Nov. 4, 1932, in Marinette, to Walter and Edith (Walters) Barley, she graduated in 1951 from Menominee High School and married Robert Marcoe on Feb. 2, 1952 in Menominee, Mi.

A past member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek, she served as Eucharistic Minister, was on the funeral lunch committee, cleaning committee, coffee socials and was a money counter for 25 years. Upon moving to Stephenson, she became a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, canning, cooking and baking

Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Doc) Oczus of Stephenson and Roberta (Joe) Mosher of Greenville, Wi.; 4 four sons, Joseph (Clara) of Wallace, Richard (Gail) of Menominee, Steven (Susie) of Rockwall, Tx. and Scott of Stephenson; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, Dale (Pat) Barley of Menominee and Wayne Barley of Stephenson.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and a great-granddaughter Miryam Marcoe.

Visitation was held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Monday, July 1 from 3 p.m. until time of Vigil Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m., with Deacon Steve Marcoe presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, July 2 at Precious Blood Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with Fr. Ben Rivard presiding.  Burial was in Birch Creek Cemetery.
