Linda Lemire

Linda (Armstrong) Lemire, 74, Tomball, Tx., formerly of Menominee, Mi., passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Born Jan. 4, 1949 in Menominee, Mi., to James and Lillian Armstrong, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1967.

She worked as a legal aid, secretary and various customer service positions prior to retirement. She also tutored English to Japanese students while working on her English degree and followed her daughter’s Military career visiting Oklahoma and living in Kansas and Texas. She loved her kitty, was an avid reader and enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and the Green Bay Packers.

She is survived by daughter, Michelle (Lemire) Osborn, Don Lemire, Jr., three granddaughters; two great-grandsons with one on the way; brothers, James (Cindy) Armstrong, Mark (Laurie) Armstrong; sister, Karen (Michael) Linsmeier and many  aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Armstrong.

A Memorial Service will be held in Spring at Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
