Lena Lions Club Held 2nd Annual Meat Sale

The Lena Lions Club held their meat raffle on March 12, 2003 at McGuire;s sports bar in Lena, WI.  A variety of meat and cheese boxes were raffled off along with several 50/50 drawings.  The winners of the 50/50 drawings were Patty Belongia, Ali McVane, Vickie Magee, and Mike Dielmann. The club would like to thank Meatski’s Quality Meats & Seafoods, The Local Market, Mursau’s Piggly Wiggly, Kugel’s Cheese Mart, and Brubakers County Store for the  excellent job putting together the prize boxes. A special thanks goes out to Lion Mary Heise for coordinating the event. The club would also like to thank McGuires Sports Bar for hosting the event and Dave Stodola for being the MC. Lastly the Lena Lions Club would like to thank everyone who attended and all the Lions members who helped to make this event a success. The club’s next event, the Lena Lions Annual Fish Fry,  will be held on April 1, at St. Anne’s Parish Hall in Lena from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  The meal will feature smelt, walleye, and homemade desserts. Paddle raffles and a 50/50 raffle will be held throughout the evening.
