James D. Couillard

James D. Couillard, 68, of Marinette, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center, Bay Area and became a donor to help others.

Born Sept. 7, 1954  in Marinette, to the late Loren and Clara (Bannow) Couillard, he worked at Lloyds, Fincantari, Marinette Marine and as an over the road truck driver.

He enjoyed fishing, listening to the radio, being outside and painting art.

Survivors include his significant other, Carol Greenwood of Marinette; two sisters, Darlene (Tom Balk) Destrampe of Brookfield and Penny (Sharon) Couillard of Marinette and many nieces; nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard; two sisters, Joan Biehl and Lorna Sieloff and an infant sister, Mary Lou.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
